Ideal Free Chlorine Range: 3 5mg/l
Prior to using this product, adjust the pH levels to the ideal range of 7.2 7.6 to promote bather comfort, plant protection and effective chemical use.
These smaller chlorine tablets are designed for use with chlorine feeders or with floating dispensers.
They will slowly erode over a period of 3 - 5 days, depending on the water flowing over them.
As they release chlorine relatively slowly it may be necessary to shock dose or oxidise prior to their use to first establish some chlorine more rapidly.
Application Instructions
IMPORTANT DO NOT ADD DIRECTLY TO A SPA AND ALWAYS USE A CLEAN APPLICATOR AS BELOW WITH NO OTHER PRODUCTS PRESENT.
Floating Dispenser - Fill the Trichlor floating dispenser with tablets and adjust the aperture mechanism at the bottom of the dispenser to obtain the35 mg/l (ppm) desired range. Alternatively keep the dispenser aperture constant and vary the tablets inside to achieve 35mg/l (ppm).
The dispenser should be removed from the spa while bathing.
Chlorine Feeders - Fill the dispenser and follow feeder instruction manuals on flow regulation to maintain 35 mg/l (ppm) chlorine levels.
It is recommended that you periodically (e.g. weekly or after heavy spa use) shockdose your spa.
